Exodus 1-2

The sermon begins the Summer of Discernment for Christ Church Vienna–using Exodus and Israel’s Journey to become God’s People as the guide.

Israel is God’s chosen people, but they have been enslaved by Egypt. Then, brave midwives and a mom defy the Pharaoh–Moses, the deliver is born. But at each turn, the question is will they, will he, will we fear and follow God or man? How can we, and Moses, live into our Kingdom Identity?
