Rod Nuñez

Director of Student Ministry & Missions

Rod, Sarah and their two boys, Ben and Sam answered a call to ministry by moving to Vienna in August of 2013 from Roanoke, Virginia. Rod serves at Christ Church Vienna with a heart and mind to help point our students and their families towards a growing relationship with a loving God. He enjoys seeing people grow in faith and discover their role in God’s restoration of our world.

Rod would describe himself as a ‘builder’ and loves to build both in his ministry and in his free time. When Rod is not building programs, structure and processes within CCV, you can find him fixing things up around his house or spending time with his wife and family.

Rod’s ministry includes mentoring and discipling students. He does this through coordinating small groups for our students, running our middle and high school youth groups as well as shepherding our college interns and recent college graduates through our summer intern programs and our Post Graduate Residency Program. He also oversees our global missions team, our local outreach opportunities, and he initiated and oversees CCV’s Spanish ministry.
