Rev. Dean Miller

Assistant Pastor

Dean grew up in Southern California and attended both Claremont McKenna College and Azusa Pacific University where his first love was soccer. He received his Master’s of Divinity at Regent College in Vancouver, which is where he met his wife Mary Ellen. Dean currently serves on Regent’s Board of Governors.

Professionally Dean has worked in a variety of settings including sales for Apple, college students with InterVarsity, and parish ministry as an ordained Anglican presbyter (priest) for over 16 years, at both The Church of the Ascension and The Falls Church Anglican. His particular passions are to see people come alive in their own relationship with Jesus, and to live that relationship out in the 7-Day Kingdom of Heaven. He likes talking your work and vocation, movies, sports, novels, the Oscars, and good coffee.

In addition to Mary Ellen, Dean loves his three kids (Corwin, a junior at Virginia Tech; Duncan, a freshman at Westmont College; and Clary, a junior at Meridian High School), Tottenham Hotspurs, gingerbread, and multi-colored sneakers.

Dean serves in preaching, teaching and general pastoral ministry. In addition, he leads the development and implementation of spiritual formation. And, he serves as the primary point person and pastor for young adults and families.
