Assistant Pastor: Discipleship & Men’s Ministry

Dean loves being an Anglican pastor at Christ Church Vienna and has spent over 30 years learning and sharing how people thrive. In his vocational life he has worked for Apple, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, several churches small, medium, and large, and as a consultant through the D Hudson Group where he is the Principal. Dean has taught graduate school and led workshops in the United States, Canada, South Africa and Thailand. He received his Master’s of Divinity from Regent College in Vancouver where he recently completed nine years on the Board of Governors. At Regent he met his wife Mary Ellen and they have three children; Corwin, Duncan, and Clary. In addition to Mary Ellen and the kids Dean loves books, Tottenham Hotspurs, gingerbread, and multi-colored sneakers.

Dean serves in preaching, teaching and general pastoral ministry. He is part of the spiritual Formation and discipleship core team and is the primary point person for Men’s Ministry.
