Children’s Ministry Coordinator

Christy Blanchard grew up in Missouri and has also called Kansas, North Carolina, and Massachusetts home before moving to Virginia in 2021. While she and her husband Josh aren’t high school sweethearts, they are from the same hometown and attended high school together. They’ve been married since 2011 and are raising three energetic, elementary-aged children. Vienna is the place they have called home the longest as a family, and they’ve been attending CCV since early 2022.

Christy holds a bachelor’s degree in Radiology and spent nearly 20 years working as an X-ray technologist, specializing in MRI and CT. She also earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management. At CCV, Christy manages the Children’s Ministry. Christy has a deep love for children and considers it a privilege to teach them about God and walk alongside them in their faith journey.

In her free time, Christy enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, crafting, working out, photography, traveling, volunteering, and being actively involved in her local community.
