(Revelations 3:7-13)

Jesus assures the Philadelphian Church of eternity, reorienting them God-ward, so they can endure persecution and suffering. An eternal perspective can enable us to live with right priorities during times of prosperity and that can enable us to endure faithfully and with hope during times of hardship and suffering.
