What We Do, and What to Expect
Your one-stop shop for all the information you need to get involved as a student at CCV!
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.
– Colossians 1:28-29
What’s CCV look like for 6-12th Graders?
We will seek to incorporate our Students into the life of the whole worshiping body on Sunday mornings. We want them to interact as those growing into adulthood in Christ, so we will not have separate groups for Middle School or High School aged students during worship.
We will however provide opportunities for students in our community to develop friendships and grow in Christ through events that are just for the Middle School and High School students.
CCV Youth Group (Middle School)
Most Sunday Nights from 4:30pm to 6:30pm – check the Student Ministry Calendar!
Middle school students are invited to join us on Sunday nights! We will enjoy a time for games, hanging out, a lesson, small group breakouts and much, much more!
CCV Youth Group- BEYOND (High School)
Most Monday Nights from 7:30pm to 9pm – check the Student Ministry Calendar!
High School students are invited to join us as we build community, friendships, hang out, dig into the Word and pray together.
We are excited to be collaborating with Vienna Young Life to gather Vienna students that want to grow with Christ into community. We will be learning what it means to follow Jesus, grow in the faith and reach out to our friends. These times together we are calling BEYOND.
Student Ministries Vision & Values
The purpose of The Student Ministry with Christ Church Vienna is to bring glory to God by helping young people come to healthy maturity in Christ Jesus. We desire to see young people come to saving faith in Jesus Christ our Lord, and work in community with families to discipline them to grow faithful to him.
Principles of Discipleship for CCV Students
- Relationship to Jesus Christ (prayer, Word, worship)
- Relationship to the body of Christ (fellowship, discipleship, small group)
- Relationship to the broken world (service, evangelism)
