Emily Fussner

Emily grew up in a few different places including Indonesia, Indiana and New Zealand! Eventually she made her way back to Alexandria, VA and after graduating college, worked for a study abroad program in Italy for a semester. She moved to Fairfax in 2017 during her graduate studies at George Mason.

Emily serves as our Worship Leader & Music Coordinator! She has been involved in worship ministry since high school and genuinely enjoys worshipping through music. She has a heart for others to be able to enter in, participate, and encounter the Holy Spirit and learn about God’s character through the lyrics and melodies when they come to a service.

Emily is an artist, and her main job is working in arts administration and event management for an arts non-profit organization in DC. In her free time you can find her at the studio making drawings or sculptures. Or, making time to enjoy the company of friends and good food (especially Asian cuisine), a movie or book. She loves walking in the city or in nature, noticing all the sunlight and shadow and little things along the way.
