Emilie Zahurancik

Women’s Ministry Coordinator

Emilie Zahurancik grew up with parents in Christian ministry and established roots in California, Latin America, Virginia, and Florida. After marrying her high school sweetheart, she returned to Northern Virginia and has lived here for a total of 42 years. During a career in music education, Emilie led and participated in a wide variety of Christian community settings: women’s Bible studies and retreats; couples small groups; nights out for mothers of young children; and children’s classes in AWANA. 

At CCV, Emilie serves as the Women’s Ministry Coordinator. She also speaks Spanish and has been great at connecting our Latina friends into the wider women’s ministry.

Emilie loves growing with others in Christ, guiding and practicing spiritual disciplines, and getting closer to Jesus every day. She also enjoys hosting people with her husband John and daughter Anna in their Vienna home, visiting her adult children in Nashville, and, most of all, reading non-fiction in her chair with her dog, Rico.
