CCV Student Summer Missions

Summer 2025

For All Current 6th-12th Grade AND College Students (in 2024-2025 school year) involved with the CCV Student Ministry.

Student Missions Options:

Camp Chainbridge (Vienna, Virginia) – Day Camp Outreach to Elem Aged students and their families

(July 14-18, 2025)

Welch, West Virginia Summer Mission – Sharing the Gospel through service, evangelism, education, sports and medical care.

As we initiated last year, our summer mission trips for students involve an application process- in which we help guide students to the best trip option to serve missionally – either our local mission, Camp Chainbridge or our away mission, which this year will be based in Welch, West Virginia.

For both of our summer missions, we will be hosting and collaborating with a team of students and leaders form our partner churches in Santiago, Chile.  This has become a wonderful way in which we serve alongside brothers and sisters in Christ, that bring gifts that we need here- and as such, we are thankful that for each of the mission options this summer, we will share serving alongside our Spanish speaking friends.

The “away” mission offering is more intense and will necessitate students that desire to share their faith in Christ, through service, conversation, exhibit the desire and openness to pray for others and that have demonstrated a desire to be part of the ongoing student ministry at CCV through-out the year.

STEP 1    

Students submit their Application electronically to Rod by the deadline – February 26, 2025.

STEP 2    

Every Application is processed and references contacted. The Student Mission Committee meets to discern which Missions option is the most appropriate for each applicant. With our limited space, we will give priority to upperclassmen that meet the criteria.

STEP 3    

Every Applicant is scheduled for a face to face meeting to discuss summer Mission placement for this summer 2025. These meetings will take place afterschool in the month of March.

STEP 4    

Students Pay Deposit and Mission Prep Classes Begin in April 2025 (Sunday Morning’s before church service) & Student Missions Fundraising Begins
